What they all have in common is precision German engineering that makes every ride seem like something special. WHY BUY A USED BMW?
If you’ve ever dreamed of driving a high-end car like a BMW, looking at pre-owned models is a smart way to get started. That’s because you’ll be able to enjoy all the same premium features and sporty performance that the car had when new, but you get to save a significant amount of money at the same time. The main difference comes from depreciation, which usually takes its biggest toll during a vehicle’s first year on the road. Of course, a lower purchase price often leads to lower insurance premiums and even more savings. You can also shop pre-owned BMWs with peace of mind since it’s so easy to get used-vehicle history reports that include key information about the vehicle’s past. These reports can let you know if the car has been in an accident before, whether earlier owners have kept up with service, and if there’s an open recall. Added confidence comes from knowing that Auto Show Sales & Service is one of the premier used-car dealerships in the Ft. Lauderdale area. A BRIEF HISTORY OF BMW
Originally founded to make airplane engines, the company we now know as BMW took its current name in 1922 as Bayerische Motoren Werke. The company expanded to making motorcycle engines as well, and in the late 1920s, it began building cars under a license from the British automaker Austin. BMW was actually banned from producing vehicles of any kind after World War II, but was able to restart its assembly lines in 1948 for motorcycles and in 1952 for cars. By the 1960s, BMW’s “New Class” automobiles were earning a reputation for quality and performance that became fully established with the debut of the first 5 Series sedan in 1972. The brand began building cars in the United States in 1994, and is now a top choice for luxury enthusiasts around the world.
